The difference between retained and contingency Staffing is contingency you only pay when the person
gets hired and retained; you pay fees in 3 installments. This includes 1/3 upfront fees, 1/3 when you get
an offer for a candidate, and 1/3 when you get a candidate hired.

RPO is Recruitment Process Outsourcing. This is where an organization outsources part or its entire
talent acquisition function to a consulting firm specializing in recruitment. What can be outsourced
includes sourcing, entire lifecycle recruiting, name generation, and other parts of the hiring process. The
RPO can be short-term, long-term solutions or to fill one role.
